Friday the 13th

We got a new tattoo.its small and simple.they had a friday the 13th special.13 bucks for tattoo and 7 for tip.you had to choose from the flash art they had out there. Saw this one and liked it..took all of about 10min..it took longer to fill out the consent form..lol..later might add freddy kruger claws and michael mayers face to the arm I got this one on.

Big mamma jamma

A associate of mine was stocking grapes and this guy comes out of the box .the associate screamed like a little girl and jumped 3ft in the air..another associate came to his rescue and killed the spider..I did manage to get pic of spider b4 the killing of it..it was a big fucking spider..so far in the months I've wrked at this store we have had 3 spiders, 2 crickets and 1 caterpillar come out of the cases of produce..what's next??

What did he just say

So gina and I r at work and an overnight guy comes up to us and is like twins run in my family, every 3rd generation male and that he's 3rd generation male and that its his turn for twins and just gave us a look..we turned and went the other way

Transfer

So gina went in and talked with store manager about her dening the transfer request..gina explained why we want to go and basically asked if she would grant it..and aftr the store maanger listened to gina she said ok..this is just to release our info over to the new store..now gotta wait to hear from other store..its crazy we have to go through so much crap and basically have to beg the store manager.I'm surprised gina didn't have to kiss her ring or something..this store manager is such a control freak on a power trip..anyway..so cross fingers other store says yes and takes us..

so found out our transfer request was denied by the store manager. come to find out she insists on talking with you first before granting a transfer.she needs to hear why. and if we dont do that that she thinks we are trying to go behind her back and leave..ok well in all the times i have transfered i have never had to talk with the store manager always just dealt with the hr person..i guess cerritos runs different.. but seriously is it really any of her business why i put transfer in..under reason i put family hardship..

Well we did it

We put in a transfer request to go to new store..why not right..what's the worst tht could happen they say no..at least we r trying .

Pulled into office

So managment pulles me into office tosay to tell me that I'm not aggressive enough wth my team in produce..that I'm to easy going..told me that they expect people to fill quicker..ok the people they hired for produce are all 19yr s..what 19yr old is gonna want to hustle  to fill produce  and fill at 5am..none..they expect them to have routine down and be able to delegate it to other s if needed in their first 3weeks..thts not gonna happen. .these folks here are all about firing people..in the 6mnths I have been here we have gone through 7 people in produce and in about a week it will be 8 people..

Taking another poll

Ok..there is a new store opening up in garden grove. Thinking about putting transfer in to that store..we have heard good things about store manager and we know a few other managers that r there...store we r at now is ok..way better then last one..but its a place wth people who have been here 15+years and talk about set in their ways..and I find it harder to work for a female store manager(our current store manager is female) then a male one..and the gaeden grove manager is male..im tired of working in stores that i dont like being  in..u know..what do u guys think?...transfer or not?..

Shhhh..

I'm sitting outside on lunch break..and it is so quiet out here..like eerily quiet..like the shit is gonna hit the fan at any moment kind of quiet..the store sits up against the freeway.I don't hear that like I normally do..even the birds r silent. ..maybe I lost my hearing and don't realize it yet..
There's no breeze either so the trees r still..looks like they are silent too if that makes any sense..its weird....a deafening silence...

And as I empty a case of bad bananas and I looked down and my name badge was gone..
I guess it went into the compost dumpster..had to go get a new one.lets see I lost a badge in the baler and now the compost bin..

Ok..open enrollment is going on at wrk..should I get dental insurance..it would 8 bucks each paycheck taken out..I just signed up for vision.thts 3 bucks..and they upd the price in the health insurance..they say  total taken would be 35 bucks e ach paycheck if I get dental...so should I?..

Living the good life

Now that we are managment and making the big bucks (I'm being sarcastic on that one) we decided to splurge a little. .I got a new toothbrush..life is good...go me..lol

Observation

Gina and me went out to breakfast this morning and I notice the people at the table next to us.it was a hispanic man and a asian women in a booth. I found funny was he ordered  biscuit s and gravy and she had huevous rancheros.that seemed odd to me.  Lol..Anyway..then I notice the guy has a blue tooth thing in his ear and a watch that looked like he was surfing the internet on.then he pulls out his giant galaxy note cell phone and starts playing on that.in a twenty min span that dude checked everyone of his electronic devices he had on him but the two people never said one word to eachother.seems like a waste.some of the best memories I have is hanging out at a table with family or friends enjoying a meal and talking to eachother.. and just enjoying eachothers company..anyway..observation I had this morning..

Almost lost a finger

I got my finger caught between the rolling potato cart, i filled it to high, and the shelf above it.didn't realize it and when I pulled the cart felt like my  finger about ript from its socket..cut the top of the knuckle too.right where finger meets my hand..think if I wasn't double jointed I would have broken it..it swelled up and I iced it and kinda pulled it back in place..its doing better now..still kinda looks a bit crooked

New friend

I was condensing pumpkins this morning and found this guy in there..all black wth orange shaped diamonds  on his back..they made me release him outside. Wanted to keep as mascot of dpt. .thy said no..lol..

Still outside enjoying the music and drinking..then what  happens..the ipod starts playing (its on random) songs my parents use to get drunk to on weekends when I was a kid. Great...time to call it a night...next month she will be gone six years.holiday time is still tough time of year..explains why we (the whole family) dont celebrate holidays anymore.

U get tired..

Today we were in the office going over the produce inventory report and my assistant manager asks me do u ever get tired of looking at your face when u look at your sister..she starts laughing I tell shit I don't if I should be offended by that statement or find it funny like you just did.I look over to gina and tell her what assistant said and gina says same thing i do.my assistant manager was like I find it funny.I told her well guess It just depends which side of you are on..I take offense to that statement..most people probably mean no ill will or malice in a statement like that they probably just worded it bad. But with this person I think she meant to be mean about it.I think she's evil.she's the one that threaten to cut my tongue out if I said an other bad word.oh and on that note I almost was sent to the office(I feel like I'm back in school being sent to office) to get written up cause I said son of a bitch to loud.I wasnt saying it to anyone I was saying it outloud cause I couldn't find something in back room and no one was around I thought anyway and they walked into room as I said it..
Then our zone manager told gina today that she pushes me and bugs me constantly to see how I react..wtf...don't poke the bear...you won't like the results..lol.

Soda bottle

U knw how I have issues with my hip now well the last week or so it has been hurting me a lot, like I wanna cut my leg off kind of hurt .so last night before going to bed I put an empty soda bottle down by my bed cause I didn't feel like getting up to take care of it. When I got up this morning I stepped on the bottle causeing me to step all funny jarring myself a bit ..well think it put my hip back in place or something cause hip feels good ever since. Lol. .still a bit of pain but nothing like it was. I was pissed off cause I stepped on the bottle but then I was like wait a min hip stopped hurting..lol.

1 year

One year ago today I was being wheeled into the operating room to have surgery to remove that tumor I had..I remeber being cold and scared out of my mind..and tht the doctors kept commenting on my snoopy tattoo..then I was alseep..surgery took 6 hours.when I finally got back to my room gina says she was there..only thing I remeber when i got back to room was seeing the price of right dollar wheel thing and people continually going up to spin the wheel..lol..I was pretty out if it.fastforward to today and I'm doing great only  got a handfull of scares on my stomach from surgery.also from when the stitches they left behind in me made there way out through my stomach..my body expelled them out by making holes in my stomach..i look down one day and i got strings hanging out of a couple of holes in my stomach..kinda neat .lol..health wise only thing is during the surgery they tore a ligament or tendon, something, in my hip..so I now have trouble wth it..hurts most days and somedays it feels like my leg is on wrong.can't sit or stand for to long anymore..gotta keep moving..ill take this hip problem over what I was going through before anyday..its crazy its been a year already. The health problems I had are starting to feel like a distant memory for me..

I was in hr office and a cashier was talking about how hairy her son has gotten and I chime in wth he's like a baby sasquatch..she gave me a mean look then started cracking up..then the guy in there told me tht me and gina have curly flowy hair  like some mythical forest creature. First thing I say to myself is did he just call me a unicorn..mythical forest creature and I think unicorn..what do you think of when someone says that.?

Badge

They made me get a new badge today.I signed my job offer today.so pay raise kicks in starting today which is nice.it was funny store manager was like yay here u go your manager now and in next breath chewing my ass out cause she said I didnt put a big enough order in for the weekend.she fails to realize that we sell almost 18 thousands worth of shit on weekend of course by sunday afternoon we r low..and thts tht we get 17 pallets of stuff on saturday morning for the wknd..I don't know its a loosing battle to try and explain.then after the ass chewing she is like r u here this weekend.I said yes both days.she said thank you jesus..ok she goes from yay your manager to ass chewing cause I didn't order enough to thank you jesus u r here on wknd ..I got tired just trying to keep up wth how I was to respond. I went from yay im manager to fuck I'm getting my ass chewed to what the fuck did she just say thank you jesus..all u n a matter of about 10mins ..I was emotionally drained by time I was able to get out of the office.

a difference a day makes

well you know how i told you guys that i got passed over for department manager again.. that they gave it to the cake decorator. the decorator signed her papers and the next day she got into a physical altercations with a person from the bakery in my produce cooler. i had to be a witness and fill out statement. anyway at end of that day she was fired. one day before she was to start as produce manager. so i was called into office and told since im runner up that i can have department since they fired the other one.. was told that i had to commit to not transferring (was talking with hr about getting transferred to a store opening up in january. they are looking for managers..)and i had to improve in my leisurely ways of working..wtf.. i think she said that cause she didnt want me to be manager but she was left with no choice. i think it irked her...anyway..i am the new department manager of produce. and i have already had my ass chewed a few times..lol.. i think they are gonna nit pick at me for a little bit cause they didnt want me to be it...today i spent most of day doing paper work and stuff like that, i didnt throw freight. i didnt bust a sweat at all today.. i feel kinda guilty about it. im gonna have a hard time letting go of stocking and trust that the others are gonna do it. i got my walkie talkie today, didn't want it. i tried to convinence them i dont need it that theres a phone in produce backroom. and that ill always be in produce if they need me.. they said nope we want a direct line.. then i was told that if i walk off with the walkie like the previous manager did that they will hunt me down.. i was like ok... but i was thinking to myself in the about 5months i have been at this store i have been told they are gonna cut my tongue out, and that they will hunt me down.. im getting kinda worried..lol..what are they gonna tell me next?

A lady and her daughter, she was about 6-7 or so, ask me where's the restroom..I tell them then the little girl asks me do I work here I said yes..she's like are those your work clothes..I said yes. wtf happened

so i didnt get the produce manager position.. was told i need to work on my presentation.. what does that even mean..and that i need to work more the gemini(inventory machine we have that you do everything from price change to inventory on)well i dont get it.. while we have not had a dpt manager in produce for almost 3 months.. who did most of the dpt manager work... me.. i did everything on the gemini. i dont understand how i need to work more on it.so who got the postion.. the fucking cake decorator.. how is she more qualified for the job then me.. when i interviewed first thing they told me was we have 4 vaiable candidates..well with my current place of employment i have learned that when they say that its never good( been in the situation b4 a few times). then the assistant manager tells me that she hates when people assume she already has her mind made up b4 interviews.. its funny cause other assistant managers right up to the shift manager would come to me and tell me to take care of stuff and tell me well your the dpt manager arent you they gave it to you didnt they.. i was like nope they haven't even interviewed yet.. and they say oh..all confused. maybe thats what she was referring to when she said she hates when people assume. i dont know. what sucks is i let them use and abuse me again.. i did my job plus half assed my through dpt manager job last 3 months..i trained all the people in produce..all of them. and what did it get me... nothing.. this has happened to me b4 with my current employer. when will i learn.. i just have to accept the fact i will never be a manager with them and deal with it and accept i will always be a floor associate.. i even let them censor me.. they wanted me to clean up my language that if i wanted to be dpt manager i need to work on it.. and i did.. i slip up maybe twice a week now which is amazing.. i let them change me..how fucking stupid..

I watched this movie..into the wild the other day and it struck a chord with me..its about a Guy just graduated from a good college and he decides in order to have happiness in his life(he had a shitty childhood) he is to ditch his life and head on foot to Alaska to live in the wild and be alone..thinks happiness is him alone in the wild.he does just that..doesn't keep contact with anyone during the two years he's gone.He burned up all his money ditched his car.and just left.you know how many times I have pondered just dropping off the face of the earth like that..and Gina and I have always said Alaska would be our final destination..he gets to Alaska from west virgina meeting people and having adventures along the way..walking mostly.. while in alaska he starts thinking back to all the experiences he had on the road during the last two years and realizes(to late) tht true happiness is shared.he tries to leave to go back home and with the spring thaw he can't cross the river and he's out of food and provisions.so in desperation he starts to eat the plants..he eats the wrong one and winds up dying ..alone ..in the wild...I don't know it was one of those movies tht made me stop and think for a moment..

ginas co worker was in the dairy cooler today filling the milk and a guy on salesfloor opens the milk door to get milk and yells into cooler hey you guys sell breast milk..lol..the guy went on to tell our co worker that he thinks it would be a great seller..

i dont have ocd...

yesterday at work i was shucking corn and manager comes over and says im not being consistent in my corn cutting skills.. apparently the corn didnt look enough like each other.. really i gotta make the ears corn look alike..i was like i dont even get a compliment about my knife skills..i can shuck about 300 in about 45 mins..maybe if i had ocd or something i could make them all look alike..so i guess the corn wont look enough alike, i hope you customers forgive me and still buy the corn...evil corn..lol..

Caterpillar really???

A guy comes up to me and ask if I'm the manager of the area..said no got him to a zone manager and he tells her how he bought a salad and when he bit into it he bit into a caterpillar...which he then went into a tirade of profanities at the zone manager..the Guy didn't bring in the proof or even a recipt ...they refferred him to customer service after tht not sure what happened..but did see him leaveing the store about 30mins later..I don't know if u bit into a caterpillar wouldn't you bring the bug in to prove it when u come to the store or at least snap a Pic..

Evil and greedy

I was working this morning and feeling mentally and emotionally in a funk this morning when an old man comes up to and tells me how my current place of employment is evil and greedy and treats their employees like shit.tells me how even the health insurance provided is shit..and how he doesn't shop here except when he needs something for his car...wtf....anyway..tht little bit of craziness coning from this Guy cheered me up...its the small things in life..LOL..I actaully cracked a smile..

My wrist probably shouldn't feel that way

I was leaning over a stack if 3 cases high of some vegetables and I noticed there's the cucumbers I need..I reach down still leaning over stack and grab case (50lbs) with one hand and try and lift it up over the stack of 3 cases..well something went pop in my wrist and now it hurts and is tingly down to the tips of my fingers...when will I learn..cucumbers r evil..

We were getting laundry soap and we were like hey we haven't bought gain soap in awhile lets get that..OK..well there's a reason y we don't buy gain..I put my freshly laundered clothes on this morning and yup allergic reaction..been sneezing my head off all day...thts y we haven't bought gain in awhile..gonna have to re wash the clothes..and buy new soap...nice..

Whats tht smell

So I'm dumping compost and I pick up a rotted watermelon..now when I say rotted I don't mean what it looks like when it goes bad in The fridge..I mean its so rotted the skin is soft and rips open with ease and the smells like vomit..OK so I'm picking it up and it decideds to split open and shower fermented rotted watermelon all over me..it smelled so bad I had to go buy a new shirt and wash my name tag.this was the highlight of my day..so yeah had a bad day today..

I needed the box of oranges from middle of pallet.instead of downstacking the freight I played jenga with the freight.LOL..its better then yesterday..I need the bottom box..so I cut opened box and pulled freight out..when they cut the plastic wrap off pallet the side I cut open box collapsed on itself..LOL..

grandpa just went racist

was done doing inventory today and was on the sales floor discussing it with the deli manager when an older white couple id say in their 70s come up to us and start talking. The guy was like we love this store and so much better then our store the one on paramount blvd. he said its cleaner and fully stocked. And that no one cares at their store. he starts to walk off then comes back to us and in a hushed voice says its cause we dont have any white people working in our store only the black and browns..i was like wtf.. i look down at my color of my arms and look at him to see if he would notice that he just insulted me.. nope he turned around and left. the deli manager was like oh shit he just was all racist with you.. he must not have known..people are stupid...

Found this foaming on the salesfloor this morning...I take it to back room and tell co-worker look its some government experiment going on and this watermelon is gonna cause an outbreak and we are patient zero..I said bring on the apocalypse..as I said tht my zone manager clicked the lights off..and it scared the shit out of my co-worker..the look on his face was priceless...zombie apocalypse ...

You know what I like about working the morning shifts.5-6am...you take lunch at like 9am..I sit on a bench  outside and just watch the world go by..I find it calming..while everyone is hustling around in such rush to go nowhere really I just sit and watch..like I'm on the outside looking in..anyway..lunch break over..gotta go..

Dirty laundry

OK so I'm stocking the bag salads and a Guy stops me and asks if I work here..I turn around and he was holding a pile of his dirty laundry and he asked if we do laundry service here..I was like nope and he asked does any wwalmart do laundry I said don't think so..he said OK and turned and walked out..he didn't look homeless. a kid in his twenties..kinda weird

Cucumbers

I was trying pull a case of cucumbers out of bin this yesterday morning and there was a small pallet of stuff in front of it instead of moving it I'm trying stretch across it to get the cucmbers then I feel something pop in my calf..felt more like something tore..it knocks me down onto the pallet..then the Fu king case of cucumbers the side of container falls apart and it starts raining cucumbers on me..LOL..its was a harsh morning for me..I'm limping around now..honestly I don't know why I thought I could pull tht case out of bin like that..it weighs 50lbs...lol

Almost a year

Just realized its been almost a year since my last blood transfusion..feeling amazing compared to  how I was feeling..I no longer look  white as ghost wth a grey death look mixed in..i got color back in my tongue and my fingernails.the whites of my eyes r white again none of that blue tint I had from lack of blood..no muscle fatigue or pure exhaustion from just trying to do the simplest of things..im so happy tht tumors gone and I'm pretty much OK now.I look like me again..well i look like Gina too.

so i was cleaning up the ears of corn.. trimming off those hair like things on top and the leaves that were still on the husks.. well as i was trying to pull off one of the husks it slid across my finger cutting it open.. yup. blood on the corn.. dont worry i cleaned it all up and disposed of the bloody corn..lol..

construction

at work there still is a construction crew that is working on final touches to the remodel of the store. well one older creepy construction dude keeps asking me if gina and i are twins and which departments we work in stuff like that. well couple days ago he asks have one of us ever felt the others pain. told him its happened once when i broke my arm as a kid her arm hurt her while i was in a cast. he said thats some crazy stuff and that we are young yet it will probably happened more.. i told him shit i hope not.. i don't know to me him(a creepy old dude) saying we will have more opportunities later on to feel each others pain kinda freaked me out a bit.would it freak you out?..

a giant genie has landed in frozen

i was working the 5am shift the other morning when i look over in the frozen isle to see the new maintenance guy cleaning the floors.. no lie he looked like shazzan.. that 70s cartoon where those two kids got in trouble and they would put their rings together and it would summons a giant genie named shazzan that would kick some ass..

ok well first off we got our yearly evaluations yesterday and both got a 50 cent raise.. kinda nice. anyway. they have me training all the new folks working produce 3 of the ones are under the age of 23. so im going through things with the first one and we get to the citrus and the person asks me what are the green things. he was pointing to limes.. and he was like what are the yellow ones..lemons.. i thought ok so we got one slow one in the bunch ok. well while training the other two both of them asked me the same thing.. are you kidding me 20 year olds dont know the difference between a lemon and a lime.. really.. then i told one of them go fill the citrus..he comes back and is like does citrus come in a bag???...he didnt know what is meant when i said citrus.. told him you know those yellow and green things you didnt know what they were.. and oranges and stuff like that.. wtf...you should have seen the three of them when i explained all the different lettuce we sell.. iceberg,butter,organic,romaine,green leaf, red leaf and hydroponic.. they just looked like a deer in headlights..lol..this is gonna be interesting.. or its gonna work a last nerve and piss me off..lol..

Car

Well we got a car..a 2011 Nissan sentra.dad helped us with a downpayment(thanks dad)..Gina is beside herself.LOL..she's loving the new car.and to have a car not from the 80s..she don't know how to act..I'm just happy its got an "oh shit" bar on the passenger side.im gonna miss the Chrysler tho..

silly white people

im working the other day and an asian woman comes up to me and ask me to help her find a hard loaf of bread.. i was like ok..she then tells me her husband only eats the hard bread and she tells me you know how white people are. lol..i laughed it off and said ok. and she goes on to tell me how they have been together 40 years and hows shes in her 60's and how he bitches at her all the time and in between all these tidbits of info she made the statement " you know how white people are"..lol..wtf...all i could do is laugh..

rain

our store is still in rebuild mode so our compost bins and trash areas haven't been setup yet.. so we have one of those giant dumpster bins. the one with a double door to open and stairs on the side to climb up the bin and dump stuff on top.well that's where we have been dumping the bad produce.today me and one of the new guys goes to dump the stuff and its full so we have to toss the bags up and over into the bin, mind you the trash bags are poor quality and produce is heavy. so we toss a bag or two over no problem. then we get to the one with potatoes and avocados in it, we toss it and the bag rips open mid air and avocados and potatoes start to rain down on us.. fun stuff... we didn't have more bags to re bag the stuff so we had to toss each individual avocado and potato into the bin. took for ever..highlight of my day..lol..

So got a question who thinks it kinda looks cool when there's a orange glow coming our from under the Hood of your car...we do...our car caught fire last night..anyone selling a car?

weird sunday

so we go into work today and its pitch black inside the store.. well there was a power outage that stated at 430 am..when we and the 7 am crew got there they had us (in the dark mind you ) to try and stock the candy at the cash registers. that failed..lol.. then they are like go zone(clean up) the clearance aisle. so there is like 10 associates in the dark trying to zone the aisle.. lol. that failed too..lights finally come little after 8am.. rest of the day kinda sucked gina and i were the only ones working fresh side today until 2pm. i had 6 pallets of freight with no where to put it( produce area hasnt been put together yet)..got very little of it out on to sales floor. then we got a pallete of bananas in so i went to stock them and mind you the tower of bananas is taller then me. i had to stand on my tipy toes and drag the top boxes down well it got away from me and landed in the palm of hand and i swear my wrist bend back to far. i think i sprained or something. its painfully to type this, make a fist, or move my fingers.. i iced it when i first got home.. its not swollen but hurts like a bitch..hopefully tomorrow is a little better.

work update

well for those that dont know we did transfer stores.. we are now working in cerritos. we have been there a week now and have to say that we love it over there.the store is very welcoming and everyone seems to like working there. a bunch of folks we have to talked to already each have been in that store 10+years.the vibe in store is calm..not one of chaos or misery like the store we just came from.its nice.all the management came up to us to introduce them selves and to welcome us.even the store manager. who is this little older lady with a hard southern accent.i love how everyone helps everyone else. managers come up to you and ask what do need if they see you are swamped and actually get you help or jump in and help.i saw assistant managers actually pulling trucks, putting jackets on and help stock frozen freight.kinda nice to see that "we are a team" vibe going on. it so different from previous store, so glad we transferred. we found out that the store manager in Anaheim initial said no to the transfer she wasn't gonna let us go. lucky for us she went on vacation and our assistant manager big joe(i think i have referred to him before) talked with her while she was on vacation and got the transfer oked. when he came up to us to tell us it was going through and he told us "i wanted to make sure this happened before i left"(he transferred out of store too his and our last day was same day). he knew if it wasnt done then while store manager was on vacation that we would have been stuck there.

Cut finger

So I was cleaning the scale at work and the tip of my finger swiped across the metal edage and sliced it open like a paper cut..LOL..wtf I cut my finger cleaning the scale.I had to re- clean the scale.LOL..then the pic on bottom the cut by my knuckle same finger I was picking something up by a pipe that had a clamp well the metal on the clamp sliced it open..LOL..same finger same day..

Started a garden in buckets today..bell peppers.tomatoes and sunflowers. To the left of the buckets we put strawberries and blackberries

oregon trip

***following post is long with lots of pics and the odd looking woman in the pics usually standing by my dad is his girlfriend. i dont like her and thats all im saying about that..lol..*** so we just got back from spending a week in Oregon with dad and the kid. train ride up wasn't to bad. we got delayed in San Francisco when a door on the train fell off. yes i said fell off..lol.. they get that fixed and at the very next stop we get held up because the police board the train and have to boot people off for drunk and disorderly conduct. had to wait till the cops released the train to continue on its way.. we got to kalamath falls early actually.heres some pics we took on the train on the way up.

when we get there dad and the kid are there to pick us up. it was great to see them both.. dad is up moving around pretty good considering he had his leg and hip reconstructed twice in last 5 months or so. he fell off a ladder while painting his house. he snapped his femur bone right where it meets the hip.. he cut open his face at his eyebrow that healed up nice had a bunch of stitches there. hes back at the gym now and moving around pretty good. not 100 % but getting there. on the first day after getting off train we just kinda toured the town and got some rest. on sunday we went to brooking oregon right on the coast. its so beautiful there.. here are some pics from there

Door

The left side ofpic  is of our cooler door at work.it rolls up.on the right side of pic is the stick thing we use when the door gets stuck open we use it to roll the door down.well the other day a co-worker opened the door and it stuck..so he used the white stick to close it.in the middle of closing it,he leaves the stick attached on the bolt thing u turn to roll the door down and hit the button to close the door.the button worked and the white stick rotated so fast it almost took the kids hand off when he tried to grab the stick..he got out of the way and when the door fully closed the stick fell off the bolt...i seriously thought the stick was gonna fly off and hurt someone..I hope I explained this correctly cause it was something to see..LOL.

5am

What I like about working the 5am shift..I get to see the sunrise and by 7am when first break rolls around the freshly baked bolio breads r ready.I have one for break...plus in the morning I'm by myself...I like the solitude a lot of the time

I was working today and a co-worker is like wow your hair has really turned grey...I looked in the mirror sure enough my hair has a lot grey now.I think with all stress that I just went through with being sick and having suregry and all that, I think now that I'm better the stress caught up with me.

OK so I'm taking my lunch break in break room cause its just to fucking cold outside.well I was sitting here eating my southwestern salad when the creppy weirdo that works in electronics stands up and announces to the room that he needs our attention.he got practically in the faces of the people at the table that paid no mind to him.when he was satisfied he had all of our attention he's tells us he put a box of 48 spoons in the cabinet and now they are all gone..he said Walmart employees have Gone through all 48...I'm thinking to myself who gives a fuck..then he just sat back down...I'm glad he didn't go postal on anyone..lunch break cant be over soon enough.

Wetnap

So yesterday I was filling up the limes in a big bin we have and while i was in back getting more a Guy puts his belongings in the bin and busts out a wetnap and starts to clean himself up right there in produce..I was like excuse me I kinda need to fill this up..he grabs his stuff and goes over and puts it on the fresh bread bin and finshed washing himself up..I understand times are harsh and you got to do what u got to do but you can at least go into the restroom and clean up and not right in the middle of the fresh side of the store

Bubbles

This watermelon I took off salesfloor and it was actually fizzing and bubbling up..kinda weird..when we cut it open it hissed at us...never seen a watermelon do that before
