Day one

Day one in hiring center proved to me in four short hours I am not cut out to have an office job and sit in a cubical.I did 3interviews and shreeded paper.then asked if after lunch we could just go back to cerritos to finsh shift.was told yes because an hour after we left cerritos on last day they were calling new store manager to request us to go back and help..well they sent gina back to cerritos for two weeks.I got shipped off to Santa fe springs this morning and I work here for the next week helping out.glad to be out of the cubical..I cant handle it..thought I was gonna go postal on someone..it sucks that we are split up..

Actually have the whole weekend off.havent been off on a Saturday
I think since I started working retail..we are out driving around looking at what the world looks like on a Saturday afternoon.havent made a judgemnt call on weather I like being off on saturdays or not.I dont know how else to put it but the world on saturday afternoon seems "stuffy" to me

Work

So yesterday before we left work we were called into office and signed our last bit of transfer paperwork.and now are officially transfered and are no longer in the system at cerritos.name badges dont work can't clock in or out, not on the schedule and cant log in to inventory system to do department manager tasks like.price changes, counts, claims, print price tags, all we can do In cerritos is stock really and train replacements. Looks like april 11th will be last day in cerritos then on april14th we will be at hiring center to conduct interviews for garden grove store. And in june the store takes possession of the building and we go build the inside of store.then opening day will be July 19.
