stuff

The temp has dropped again its back down into the 20's for the high.it rained a little so with that and the fog we have we got a bit of ice on the roads and sidewalks and stuff. the other day i stepped out and slide from the front of the jeep to the back..glad i didnt fall and slide under the jeep, apparently that happens a lot here. you go to open your car door and slip and slide under the car..lol..They say its suppose to snow that first week in feb. hopefully its not to bad and it doesn't mess with the train and we can get out of here on time.(crossing fingers)
work is going about the same. i have the usual amount of cuts and bruises, haven't gotten hit in the face by a cases of toilet paper in awhile( wait...i did get hit the other day i was pulling a case off the top shelf and it turned and slid down and the corner got me right in the lip..lol..good times)most people at work know i'm a twin now. we are almost done with all the " they're twins" comments and stuff like that from co-workers, guess the novelty is wearing off, which is nice.We walked into the feed store the other day( getting hamster food) and the three people behind the counter asked if we were twins and we told them no and that we were cousins and the looks on their faces was priceless they were believing it..lol...we finally told them no we are twins and they were like oh we knew it and you couldn't have been cousins.. Oh and the chick at goodwill is totally amazed that we are twins. every time we go in there she is staring at us and the yesterday she was like it so hard to tell you apart.i cant stand her .we have been going in there for 6-7 months now, get over it already. she makes us feel like a two headed monster or like we were in some freak show something..it would be nice to walk into a place and not be the odd ones out you know...anyway..back to talking about work. this guy walks up to me wanting to know where the boxes of matches are. i showed him and he said is that all you have i said no the rest on the shelf. he goes over there and buys 6 boxes( each box was 250 matches in it)and he also got 3 lighters. thats it..i was thinking to myself remember what he looks like because hes probably going to set something in town on fire..lol..
our toad greyhound got out of the tank, cant find him hes been gone a week or so now. We are assuming hes dead.so the toad count is down to 4. from 7 to 4.rest of the pets are doing good.
Well tomorrow is our birthday. another birthday without mom,it sucks..But the forkers are really cool they are making us a bday dinner and cake and stuff which is really nice...thanks forkers..

countdown

countdown to California trip--2weeks and 2 days.

1-12-9

The snow has melted, the temp is in the 30-40's or so now.it rained one day too i think...Hopefully the weather holds up and there wont be delays on the train when we come down for a visit next month..we cant wait to get home for a few days.if all goes well we will be down there the night of Feb.8th and leave feb14th. hopefully we get to see everyone.
Work is about the same. I feared for my life the other day, i was cleaning up the sandwich bags when i hear a raspy voice ask me how much is this. i turn around and there was this family of four that looked like they came out of the movie the hills have eyes(dumb movie) for those who haven't seen it they looked some post-apocalyptic,radiation drenched family..lol..they were asking how much vacuum sealed bags were. i was thinking to myself oh my god they killed and eaten some family and want to seal up the leftovers..lol..i got out of there in a hurry..there is just a whole lot of ugly living in this town. its right down scary at times..Theres no new major injuries, cuts, or bruises to tell you about this time.

toilet paper/work

Ok, so all week at work the toilet paper has been totally wiped out everyday..lol..its like the people here are stock piling it.it reminded me of that Y2K bug that was suppose to stop the world when we went from 1999 to 2000.remember? everyone was stock piling supplies..anyway..work is going ok.You should have seen the mess me and this other girl had to cleanup yesterday. over in the beer aisle it looked like kids had Threw a bunch of popcorn chicken and Oreo cookies, oh and a 12pack of beer all over the aisle..lol.good times....its finally slowing down as far as the amount of people in the store. which is nice because working retail at Christmas time really blows.there's just to many people at one time in the store.it drives you crazy.

The other day was my day off so we went with the forkers to cascade park where they went sledding and we tried to make a snowman..lol..Here is how our snowman turned out.

Thats pretty sad huh..lol..the snow was just not cooperating.

2008 year in review.

With 2009 here,we thought we would take a look back at 2008. It started off bad, dealing with moms passing.Then a few months later we quit our jobs( which is a funny story all its own, you all know how that went down.).We then moved a couple states away and to a small town of 18,000(still adjusting to that)..and now one of us is working at walmart shuffling toilet paper around,trying not to get hurt or killed in the process..lol..that pretty much sums up 2008 for us..
