gym

there's this new gym that is across the street from our new store we will be working at.. they advertise its 10 bucks a month. so we go sign up today..after signing up we go work out a bit. so i start out on the treadmill do a mile or so there,then i look over and see the stair machine thing. i think that looks horrible i'm gonna go try it out i figure i just a mile or so on this treadmill at an incline i can do the stairs.. so i get on the stairs start it up and do about 15-20 steps or so thought oh shit im in trouble. the leg wouldn't bend anymore..lol.. i held on to the sign bars and slid right off the back end of that thing and said yeah im done for the night.and went home..lol..wonder what tomorrows gym adventure will be like....

Plates

Driving around this morning I have seen license plates on cars from new york, utah, wisconsin, Quebec. I think its kinda weird..is it a sign?...

Swap meet

Spent morning at swap meet.heres a few things that caught my eye..row of skateboards looked cool, the prosthetic legs tripped me out, wonder if you have to buy them as the pair.and the mummy thing had me scratching my head.I dont get it..lol..

Produce

For last few nights I have been having dreams about produce.let me explain.the first shipment of produce to the store shows up a day before the store opens.I have to place that order the day before that. I got one shot to get it right.the wherehouse is always out of something, or the weather has affected some crop making a shortage of something..in the dream truck shows up day before and sure enough I forgot to order things and the wherehouse was out of stuff and we grand open with empty shelves in produce causing managment to jump all over me..I dont know why im stressing about this so much.when I went to cerritos I was there for remodel of store and all of produce showed up the morning of grand opening and we had three hours to stock produce and clear the floor for the opening.

Stop the brainwashing

In new store setting it up and they put a cd on while working singing about how we r a walmart family..brainwashing again...lol...it needs to stop!

Field trip

Today our place of employment has sent out the fresh side hourly managers and a couple of associates to Temecula to visit the store out here, apparently its in the top ten in the country for  sales volume.we are looking at how they do things and take back ideas to garden grove.they put us up in a hotel paying for mileage, and for our food.gonna be out here till Wednesday afternoon.this should be interesting.before we left garden grove today we had to have a meeting on the  expectations for our behavior and how we are representing our place of employment. Kinda funny..lol..they never send non salaried people out like this so they had to get all kinds of permissions and I guess its a big deal.we have to present our ideas and what we learned when we get back..
