i'm at work yesterday and it was about 15 mins till lunch break and the manager calls me over to aisle 11..i get there and he shows me this thing..


A Grill made out of cardboard(it was a display) which was full of bbq sauce,and bbq spices and tells me to put the items back on the shelf..hes like it has wheels so you can push it around..so off i went pushing this grill around walmart putting things away..people telling me i like you grill and shit like that...lmao...wish gina was in there to get a pic of me pushing this thing around..it was pretty comical.

I dont Know whats with people i this town but they like to share every aspect of their lives with anyone near by..i'm at work on lunch at a table by myself(which i like), minding my own business when a co-worker who i dont know comes up to and explains to me how she is getting dizzy and stuff like that, then tells me how earlier that morning her man wanted try some "moves" out and the motion of it all made her dizzy and nauseated..What the fuck i don't even know her and shes tell me this..Then we are at a thrift store this morning and the old lady ringing us up is explaining to us how she has to keep hiking up her underwear that they keep falling off..its like the people in this town don't know what to much information means..lol..i don't get it...

in response to the previous blog post..we have had a couple of off days and at the time of the post we were seriously discussing it..once we have had a few days to sort things out in our head, and get our mindset right, we will be fine and staying in moses hole for a long time..lol..dont worry forkers you did nothing wrong.

1 year

Well one year ago today we started this blog. When we started we didn't think we would have anything to say, but we have managed to find a few things to talk about and comment on. next week will be one year ago that we left California..and on July 1st it will be a year that we have lived up here..crazy how time flies.If anyone wants to be taken off the email list from this blog just let us know.we do post a lot sometimes and im sure that gets annoying at times.

The Joys of Shit and Mango Nectar

someone brought a dog in the store and let it shit in the aisle.someone rolled over in one of those motorized carts..lol..glad i didn't have to clean that up..felt bad for the person who had to. ok, well you all know about the dog food getting all over me this last Saturday, well today was one of those days too.I was helping out in grocery and i had to stock this mango nectar drink. it was a 12 pack or maybe 24, cant remember, of cans that had cardboard on the bottom and plastic wrapped around it. i went to cut the plastic off and cut through i think 4 or more cans of this shit and it was shooting out everywhere. It got all over my glasses, my clothes..it actually shot in to the eyes of the girl working with me in grocery.it was puddled on the floor. then while we were cleaning up this stuff someone pointed out that the tomato juice on the shelf was leaking too..lol..when i got into the jeep when Gina picked me up she was like what the hell is that smell..lol..
There's two new managers now.I'm butting heads with one of them already. she reminds of skank..those of you who worked with us in our previous place of employment know what i mean when i say skank....so it kinda sucks at work right now.

Rainbow

We have been having some crazy weather the last few days. lighting storms,thunder and lighting,heavy rain,small tornado's, then while i was at work the other day the weather stopped and they saw a rainbow. here's some pics(Jill took the pics).In a few of them you can see two rainbows at once.kinda cool. and from what everyone said the colors were really vivid.its a shame i missed it.

How fucked up is this

I get to work and start cleaning up cardboard and stuff out of the pet aisle and i reached for some on the top shelf where the cans of dog food are. I accidentally knocked over a large can of dog food that just happen to have a pull tab top on it that someone had pulled, the can hit the floor and shot dog food all over me..i had to have Gina bring me a new shirt..it got in my hair..how fucking disgusting..and what a way to start a nine hour shift at work..the rest of my night was just as bad..I'm glad to be out of there. got the next three days off...some nights i really HATE my job!

we leave the windows rolled down on the jeep because its hot here and there's no ac. anyway it started to rain this morning went down close windows and there's a cat in the jeep..lol..it was scared it kept trying to get out of the jeep through the window..he kept hitting the window instead. after the 5th time hitting himself on the window he finally made it.think hes been going into the jeep for awhile now. the other day Gina was saying it smelled like cat pee in the jeep..guess we got to keep the windows rolled up now at night..

Was told today that my department manager is going to try and get into the assistant managers program in dec or jan,in about 6 months.she basically told me she wants me to take over as department manager if she gets into the program.might be kinda cool.i already know the department and stuff.
Its raining on and off here tonight.i like the smell of the rain, had lighting dancing around the sky too, kinda neat.
On the 20th of this month it will be one year that we have been doing this blog. On July 1st, it will be 1 year that we have been living up here. crazy how fast time flies.

oddities

we went to lunch today at the mexican food place in town. i got this quesdilla.it was really chessy,i took a bit and swear that the cheese clumped into the shape of a t-rex..no lie..tried to get a pic of it. it kept coming out blurry.

Then i was adding more rubber bands to the ball(which by the way is getting huge..i'll add a pic of it up here tomorrow)and i pulled out this funky looking rubber band from the bag..what the hell is it?

The other day at work on my lunch break i started to scribble on this piece of paper.i was thinking how in mary poppins they drew pics on the sidewalk and jumped into them and went to those places.so started to scribble where i wanted to go here it is..didnt work i was still there for 4 more hours that day..lol..
