Bday Weekend

Saturday was our birthday and we both had off this weekend so we decided to rent a car and go to wenatchee. There's not much to do there either but it was a nice change of scenery. John and his son came with us. we stopped at target was nice to see a sea of red instead of a sea of blue like where we work. then we stopped at this huge hunting/camping, toy store place..it was kinda cool. here's pics of a few things i thought were weird.the first is a fish mailbox.and the second is a toy cow that you see its insides..

We also drove by the arena they have there. we saw the wenatchee wild hockey teams' bus while we where there..its kind of a neat looking arena( from the outside)

we drove around a bit more before heading home. then that night john came over to our place we hung out and had a few beers and drinks..john and gina handled their alcohol better then i did. i passed out on the couch..lol..
Then on Sunday johns wife made us dinner and made a cake for us..it was nice.here's a pic of the balloons they got us

Baggies and Meat Tenderizers

i was stocking toilet paper today and this guy asks me if i could help him find some freezer bags i said ok..this guys face was so beat up..he had cuts and even a band aid on his face.anyway, he says he needs pint size freezer bags..and then tells me he uses them for stuff that don't go in freezer.and kinda chuckled a bit.i just put my head down and and didn't make eye contact and was telling myself oh please don't tell me what you use these bags for..so i told him we don't have any..he says he also needs a certain brand of Meat Tenderizer that the boss says its a real good one..i'm thinking to myself wtf!(What the Fuck)..hes all beat up probably uses the bags for drugs and i'm thinking he kills and eats people and uses this certain brand Meat Tenderizer to prepare the body...lol..wouldn't you think the same thing..lol..

At work today while i was stocking cat food a lady comes over and says she needs help with a calculator i was like ok I'll try and help..well she says she needs one for chemistry class. i said oh you need it for the periodic chart or something? she said its a periodic table not chart..i thought great this is going to be fun..i said oh excuse me..she then tells me i shouldn't wear the plugs i'm wearing in my ears because they cause emotional distress and that shes been reading all about it...lol...i was shocked to hear that a redneck around here actually reads..lol..

work stories

Here's a few things that have happened at work lately that have made me laugh a little..

the other day a co-worker was on the ladder handing down cases of toilet paper thinking it would be safer to have someone help with it. well john turns the corner to go down the aisle we were in and he yells out "wheres the dildos"..well that distracted my co-worker right as she was handing me a case and what happens she drops it and it hits me in the face...nice...

I was on break and standing in line to buy a Pepsi and there is two teenagers in front of me and one of them just straight out spits on the floor..wtf..my first thought was great now there's another redneck disease airborne..

couple of days ago they had me take spray paint and go outside in the cold and wind and paint a 3 shelve rack that we use..well there i go out into the cold(think it was 30 degrees if that) and where they had me do this it was like a freaking wind tunnel so as i sprayed the paint the wind was just taking it away.. i couldn't do it right and they had someone else finish it..one guy was like Tina thought all you Californians knew how to use spray paint..lol.what an idiot..

they had me helping out in electronics over Christmas and i looked up at the tv wall and the tv's where out. i was told that a circuit blew or something like that and blew out like 7 tv's. there was smoke and everything they said.took them a good part of the morning to repair the electrical and replace all those tv's..i thought that was pretty funny.

They had me change an end cap out and put 2pack dish soap up..well i had to adjust the shelves so the product would fit..i noticed one shelf wasn't sitting right..i said fuck it and loaded up the dish soap..well the shelf wasnt sitting correctly and when enough weight was put on the one side it came off and crashed down into the shelf below and the one below that..well i had dish soap bottles everywhere and i stood there just looking at the mess, i didn't know weather to laugh or cry..i took a moment and cleaned up my mess..lol..

going home

well,our time off request we put in at work got approved..looks like we will be coming home for a visit. we leave here April 2nd and will be back here April 18th...cant wait

So im at wrk in brkrm and people r in here talkng bout killng and eating porcupine.wtf!

Its been awhile since my last post so figured it was time to blog..Heres whats been going on.
The Weather: we only had a couple days of snow. and its been cold more then anything.we had a good rain the other day which was nice.
The Pets: pets are doing good. bagheera is getting bigger.Shes really playful.shes starting to turn white on her underside. she looks weird..lol..bb(the rabbit) is good. the kitten bugs the shit out of her. the turtles are good too. Heres some pics of the pets.

The Apartment:The Apartment is coming along. its starting to look "lived in"in the hallway we have put pics up of things that remind us of home..kind of a California hallway.we are getting use to the quiet...its nice. and the having our own rooms..thats nice too. never had our own rooms before.we got a couple of noisy neighbors but who doesn't..
Work:well i got to go to work now so I'll write more about work when i get home.
