Hes a jumper

A customer comes up to me and says just to let u know you got a rather big spider on the apples over there..I turned around and saw this guy hanging out on an apple first thing I said was holy shit..lol..forgetting I was at work again..anyway it looked like a baby tarantula ..we take the containers of apples off the floor and took them to the  back room.we managed to capture the spider and I released him outside in the flower bed.oh and he jumped too

Behave till when?

So you know I gotta play nice till I get on new stores dime.which is march 29th..not to long to go..but I almost screwed it up yesterday..It was me, two other department managers and our zone manager was telling us what need to be done and how we need to go about completing the task at hand.well as soon as the zone manager finishes telling us this info I without skipping a beat said out loud thts fucking stupid.everyone stopped and looked at me I knew instantly I messed up.i then apologized for my phrasing and that i didnt mean to say that out loud like that.tried to tell them I have a bad habit of thinking out loud.the zone manager didnt say a word basically shot me daggers out of her eyes.I apologized again and we went on with what we had to do..I think since im so close to getting out of the store think they have given up on trying to keep me in line.like they are just putting up with me for one more week you know ,I hope so.either that or im gonna get written up next day i work.

Day finally over

Busy busy day at work..got thru all 14 pallets of produce had to wrk up to last 5mins of shift to get it done..add that to the 8 pallets of automotive and sporting goods I helped with this morning..my fucking arms r killing me right now..so glad to be home..think im gonna have a beer and relax rest of day..

Freight everywhere

Had to come in to work today at 5am to help other side of store work their crap..8 pallets of automotive and sporting goods we got thru b4 lunch..now after lunch I get to go back to produce and work the 14 pallets that came in today .ginas gonna help with that..im gonna be pretty sore by time I get home..but at least I get to leave at 2pm today and we both got 2morro off..

Im sitting here on lunch break under a tree by myself listening to my ipod.I gotta say i enjoy that 1 hour in middle of work day to just sit outside and enjoy life for a moment..peaceful lunch break today :)

Is that how u fix it

In my backroom at work we kinda put some holes in the wall and broke all the tile along bottom..did it with pallets and pallet jacks and such..well they replaced the tile as you can see, if u look closely at the third tile from the left you can see the hole is still there and the hole is as big as the width of the tile...they just put tile over the hole, badly I think cause, u can still see the hole..ok is that how u would fix it..wouldnt you fill the hole then put tile up?seems kinda stupid to me to do it like they did.

Picked up a new toy yesterday..never played a stringed instrument before figured about time I learn

Gnaw my face off

I read this story today about a conjoined set of twins being born.all what was there of second twin was the head attached to first twin at shoulder..so basically a baby with two heads..I tell gina can u imagine if we were born that way.without missing a beat gina said she was would just gnaw my head off...lol..to be honest I was taken back by that answer cause this was coming from gina..lol..told her she scared me a bit with her answer..lol..

good news monday

on Monday we finally signed our job offers with the new garden grove store..since the store isnt opening anytime soon they r having us train our replacements then next month we get to go to the hiring center and conduct interviews for new store. yesterday they trained me and Gina on how to conduct interviews and what we need to looking for and what we should asking stuff like that.not sure how long we will be doing that for. hopefully not to long not sure i can handle being behind a desk for to long. then after that im assuming they will just bounce us around from store to store helping out till they take possession of the new store.whats the best part is now that im on the garden grove stores dime i am no longer on thin ice.. no more threats of termination,at least for now,lol. another bit of good news from Monday was the store manager came u to me all bugged eyed like she does squawking at me about my sales from day before. apparently our department did over 10k in the one day beating out the sister store in la habra. so got high fives and they asked me to bring my crew to the morning meeting and we got a shout out in the meeting. kinda nice, made the crew happy to not be yelled at by upper management for once.finally a good monday

Dmv

Spent last two hours at dmv getting id renewed. Didn't have appointment so when I got there I was g99.they were on g48..while waiting I downloaded an app to make an appointment and I did to see if I can get in sooner..lol..dmv is such a miserable place.people wrking looked just as miserable as people waiting there.
There was this couple sitting in front of me.the lady was digging her pinky finger into the dudes ear.it was surprising how far she got it in there..every time she dug something out she wiped it on the leg of the chair she was sitting on..kinda gross..and the dude was sitting there like it was nothing like shes always got her finger in his ear or something..
Then guy next to me in rather short shorts was getting kinda loud about how he doesn't understand the dmv system..no one was listening to him.think thts way he kept getting louder and louder about it.fun morning

Avacados

I scanned my avacados this morning and my on hand (the amount I have in stock) was 666..told my associate to go buy an avacado..lol

Office...again..

So got called into office again..I was told if Im absent one more time im gonna be terminated..nice huh..fuck I gotta play nice till I get signed with new store, which looks like june...im walking on thin ice I guess.hopefully I get thru next few months.gotta clock in and out on time, come back from lunch on time and dont call out..cross fingers for me..lol..this is gonna be hard for me..lol

Norms

We just had breakfast at norms..I gotta say norms is packed on a sunday morning..everyone and their mother was here..its funny I was listening to the conversations of the people around our table, family behind us the dad was showing off pictures from his trip to fort Sumner and no one sounded interested in it..and table in front of us the little girl was scolded by her mom.the mom telling her to stop being mean or she was gonna take away everything she owns..the kid just wanted attention.the table to left an Asian family was there.two older adults and two kids..the kids were explaining how their cell phone plan worked. I find it interesting to sit in crowded room and just listen to whats around me..im weird I guess.
Oh our waitress was telling us about her and her twin sister..identical mirror image twins..its cool when we meet other twins.

Haunted

Ok so u guys know a guy took a shit in my backroom at work..well for last few days in that spot people keep dropping cases of produce..yesterday 100lbs of tomatoes went crashing down..45lbs of peaches, half a cart of rotted produce fell over..list goes on..we think that spot is haunted, or we are just really clumsy..lol..what do u think..
