dry falls and coulee dam

yesterday we went to the coulee dam and saw the light show. along the way we stopped and saw the dry falls. The kinda reminded me of the grand canyon a little bit. The drive up there was very scenic wouldn't mind taking that ride again. When we got to the dam it didn't really seem that big but when we were standing at the visitors center,looking at the dam and saw these people walking at the picnic area near the bottom of the dam and against the dam these people looked like ants..lol..that put it into perspective as to how large this thing is.Now the light show was kind of a disappointment,it was a narrated history of the dam in laser lights. Then part way through it they experience technical difficulties and the thing shut off. so a few minutes later they get it going but of course they start back a bit and we have to rewatch parts of it. then you guessed it it did it again. a few minutes later they get it back up and this time it didn't stop.it just wasn't what we expected.saw it once that's enough for us. lol..i cant imagine living in that town( it think it was electric city, its right there at the dam) and having to hear that show every night in the summer.heres a few pics from dry falls,drive to dam and the coulee dam.
